My grandfather had this house built in 1951 or 1952. He lived in this home until he passed in 1985. My dad would have been 18 years old when this picture was taken and fresh out of high school, I wish his 1969 El Camino SS was in the driveway to see. My dad still owns this house today, it is where I was born and raised. Very little has changed with the property the house sits on. All of the chinese elm trees died of disease in the late 90's early 00's. My dad built me and my brother a zip line between the two large trees near the road. To the left of the house in this picture my dad built a pole barn in 1982, where he ran a body shop business and his brother repaired electronics.
