Pin location corrected. 30 W 9000N Rd, Manteno, IL 60950. View looks SSW. US Hwy 45/52 runs N-S (upper left to bottom center of photo) and E. County Hwy 9/W 9000 N Rd. runs E-W (lower left to right center). Google Street View image shows the house was standing and occupied in June of 2018. However, the June 2023 image shows the house had since been demolished.

This was once a one-room country schoolhouse, labeled as School No. 4 in the 1883 Manteno Township plat map.
