I grew up on Inglesh Ave about 3 blocks from this YMCA. In the late 1960’s and early 70’s I hung out there at times with my friends. We played billiards a lot and sometimes went swimming. Many more adventures in the wooded area just beyond the baseball diamond. There is a large rain drain tunnel under ground that runs along the sidewalk behind the YMCA along the edge of the field. You could enter down by the river. We would climb up the tunnel and call to passersby from under the man holes. So much fun.
