In the Kankakee Co. Ill. Historical Atlas of 1883 this home belonged to Charles L. Wooster. His father Col. Lyman Wooster came here in 1838 and is listed as an early pioneer here. On pages 31 and 37 of the Atlas there are two homes of very similar design that were on Harrison Ave in Kankakee.
