Looking southwest at the intersection of West Fremont and North Henderson Streets, Galesburg, Illinois. North Henderson is U. S. Route 150. In the northeast corner, we see Gates Tires. Northwest corner is an A & P and Arlans, plus a Shell service station. Southwest corner has a Standard service station, an Eagle grocery store, a Pizza Hut, plus a Belscot department store. The building in the southeast corner, and the tire shop building, plus the houses remain today.
