Marina and diner on north side of Rt 173 just east of where 173 crossed over the bridge where Lake Marie and Channel Lake connect
When I was a young kid I worked for Bob Palm and his Dad Hank. I used to cut grass for Hank and other duties around his rental cottages. Then on weekends I would pump gas at the marina for the boaters. There was a restaurant on the first floor and the marina repair ship and showroom in the basement. The big building on the left was for boat storage. Later on the restaurant above was converted to a sales room. I have such great memories of Hank, Louise, Bob, and Mary Palm, great people. Later on in life Hank & Louise move to Fort Myers, Florida and I would always stop and see them and they would make us very welcome. Miss them all.
