Wauconda Orchards - 1201 Gossell Rd., looking NW. Founded in 1951 by Richard and Marge Breeden. Over 100,000 people visited per year during its heyday. They retired and sold the orchard in 2001. It’s since been torn down and the land developed into a subdivision.
