My best guess puts this property smack dab where Monster Powersports now lies, so basically on the west side of Rt. 12, 500 feet north of W. Slocum Lake Rd. I'm not entirely sure if that is merely an access road that intersects with Larkdale Row or if it connected with Rt. 12 as well. It appears the Rt. 12 grade is much higher than the other road, so most likely not. The telephone pole on the bottom middle of the photo is at the northern most edge of the motorcycle dealership, so that is where the access road would have been. The sign on the side of the road in the photo says [up arrow] Barrington / [up arrow] Chicago / [right arrow] Fox Lake.
