This was the magnificent farm estate that was torn down in 2008 to make Grassy Lake Forest Preserve. The driveway was an extension of Hurdale Lane off of Kelsey Road. The drive went past the barn and continued to this house. It had a view of the Fox River behind it. I supposed it's better to have been preserved as open land than developed into more houses.
