This is my grandparents Harry & Marion Clavey's home on Hunt Club Road just north of 120 in Libertyville. ( just a few miles away from my parents home) They built this home in 1959 on 10 acres.Grandpa Clavey planted all the trees himself. They were all used for the original landscaping of Great America in Gurnee when it was first built. He landscaped all the estates on the North Shore & was still going strong even in his 70's!

I grew up next door to your grandparents. There was also a sheriff Clavey ? I maybe wrong but I think it was their son. I also went to school with Two Clavey grandson’s.

Yes! My Uncle Pat Clavey was Sheriff of Lake County. Is your last name Goniu- not sure I’m spelling it correctly- I used to play with the kids next door! Their dad’s name was Dick Goniu? Their aunt live in the house in front and their grandparents lived next them on the other side. They are all very nice- great memories!
