Again RT 134 in Round Lake Ace Hardware And Lakes Bowl

Lots of fond memories bowling at Lakes Bowl! I went to grade school with the Laskowski kids whose parents owned that Ace Hardware. It was originally in just the section of the building in the center with the curved roof. They expanded twice at this location. The family still owns several Ace Hardware stores in the northeast Illinois area, adding the McHenry store to their collection just a few years ago.

The small building just off the road in front of the Ace Hardware was the office of Dr. Brunza (maybe Brenza or Brundza?) who was my and my little sister's doctor in the 1960s.
