Looking S/SW at the St. Paul Catholic School, 300 S West St, Odell, Illinois. West Street was the original 1926 alignment of U.S. Route 66. As an added highlight of this picture...look closely at the upper LH corner. You will see the old Standard Oil Gas Station, 400 S West St, long before it was ever thought of being restored!!
