Looking down at the intersection of Mazon Avenue, Illinois Route 17, and Franklin Street, with the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad cutting across the intersection. Main Street is barely seen behind the trees along the left edge. The entire intersection has been redesigned with the rebuilding of the railroad for high speed running. The only constant is the Mazon Apartment building, which is the second building to the west, left, of the ARCO station, and some of the homes in the background. Everything else is gone with the redesign.
