Chesterfield school

What a treasure! My brother and I had two of the best teachers of our lives in that beloved building, Miss Olive Wheeler, 1st-4th grades, and Miss Grace Hewitt, 5th-8th grades--all in two classrooms. I remember at recess we would play at being an Indian tribe in the field behind us. I was always the crazy witch doctor. I returned to a reunion there in 2015 (I think). The building still stood, an empty, ruined shell.
