I grew up 2 miles North of Hettick on Rt 111. Went to Hettick Grade School 1960 - 1964, then the schools consolidated and we were buses to Modesto for grades 5 & 6. Hettick housed 1st & 2nd Grade. It was a wonderful little town with a square partially filled with old family business's.
