tavern on 136 west of san jose
Called Two mile since it was 2 miles from San Jose. Had many Friday night fish meals there and fell asleep on a chair while adults danced and partied.
37947 U. S. Route 136-Illinois State Route 29, San Jose, Illinois. View looks south. Mason County Road 3800E is seen along the left edge of the photo. Illinois State Route 29 turns north here, towards Pekin, and U. S. 136 continues east towards San Jose. The bar was torn down sometime between June of 2009, and August of 2013.
