i think this is one of the Northern Pump farms north of McCullom Lake. I used to work for the farms and this very much looks like the farm where Clarence Etten lived..Buildings noticably higher than the RR tracks. I dont know who oens it now
I purchased this property in 2013. Only the L shaped structure is still standing. The house was burned down and the barn had been torn down years before i bought it. I really enjoy seeing and learning about its history.
This is the farm where my uncle Ray Etten lived. I used to love going up in the cupola on top of the roof. You could see for miles! My dad was Clarence Etten and we lived on the Northern Pump farm on Rt. 31 just north of Ringwood.
My father, Dr. Murray Savage was one of the veternarian's who took care of the animals at Northern Pump, the time frame being the 1950's-1960's. It is so good to see these images as I was there as a child!!
