I spent a great deal of time on this farm. As a teenager I regularly pheasant hunted, in fact I shot my first pheasant on this farm. I recall the upstairs where all the bed rooms were was not heated, very cold. The farmer, farmed the ground, raised angus cattle and there were chickens in the small building in the upper left. The middle building was a garage and grainery. The building in back of the barn was a crib. I don't recall when the tenant farmer died, but all the building were burnt and the ground farmed over. Located on this site today is Heartland junior College. Interstate 55 cuts through the back of the farm.
