This is my great grandfather John Becker's farm. My dad went to kindergarten in that school house and had Aunt Idella Becker for a teacher.

I am sitting in the little school house right now, as I prepare to move into my grandparents house in two weeks, after 2 years of rennovations. I have so many fond memories of this place and am working to restore it to its old glory. My grandma Idella met my grandpa Frank while teaching at the schoolhouse. Grandpa living next door at the time with his parents. I’m so blessed to have had the opportunity to save the homestead that has been in the family for over 100 years, from being leveled. I sure hope grandma and grandpa are smiling down.
