This is the REA Rural Electric Assembly, It was torn down and moved to the south of Waterloo. There are now shops and restaurants in this area

Today, the Applebee's is located near the north end, and the Doctors Urgent Care Waterloo is located near the south end of where it was originally located. The two-lane alignment of State Route 3 is seen in the foreground. Today, the highway is four lanes. View looks SSW.
