Henry John Stumpf, my grandfather purchased this farm in 1893 it remains in the family today. He built the house and surrounding building for his fiance they were married in 1898. The photo faces east. D rd is in the foreground the large tree in the upper right corner is the intersection of Trout Hollow Rd and Bluff Rd in the American Bottoms lying 270 feet below.

I remember this house when we lived up on the bluff above it.
