Crossroads of Perryville Rd. and McNeal Rd. looking northeast. NE of Monroe Center
This house was Vogt or Vought School. It was a one room school house and John Vought owned the land. In the sixties it was bought by my husbands family. A garage was added on and a porch. An upstairs was also added and dormers are on the front. There no longer is a barn.
Local newspapers advertised the sale of the school building (referred to as Voght School) at an auction on October 14, 1944. Building dimensions were listed as 20x32 in the auction advertisements (the 1964 photo is a little better quality).
