Edward and Barbara Aurand lived here from January 1946 till May 1960. I was 6 months old when my parents moved there and was going on 15 when we moved in 1960. I loved growing up there. The only building that is still standing is the big red barn. Henry Babson owned this farm and the one that was just west of it, The Babson Arabian Horse Farm. That's where my Dad worked.
