This is the farm where I grew up. My family moved to this farm in 1966. Our house changed during this time. We had a house fire in 1972. The whole house was completely burnt down. It was a week before Christmas, December 17th. It was a Sunday afternoon, my Mom and my brothers were shopping in Decatur, our Dad was working as a watchman at a local business. When we were coming home, we saw my uncle on Rt 105. He flagged us down and pointed at the massive amount of smoke, telling us that was our house. The house was rebuilt and we moved back to the farm in 1974. My Parents lived their til they retired and moved to town in 1990.
