I grew up here, living here until age 14. 1979-1993. In the photo you can see my dads old tractor, a 1952 Super M, in the middle just below the machine shed. Either me or my sister is on the sidewalk. Before we moved in this was a working dairy farm. Interstate 74 came through and the farm was cut up. Many of the buildings were torn down at that time. The small shed south of the house and the far SW shed on the property were there for awhile, but torn down while we lived there. Sadly after we sold the place the next buyer let it go into disrepair. The only thing left is the machine shed. The farmground around was owned by Gene Bateman. It since sold and now has many modular homes on what was the farmground.
