This is my family's farm located 1/2 mile South of Lodge, IL just west of the railroad tracks. It was my grandparent's, then my parent's, then my brother's and now my nephew's. The old house has been replaced by a new one, the 2 large barns still exist, but have been updated with new siding. The tall hackberry tree pictured near the old house was just removed this week (1st week of March, 2021) when it finally split in half and became unstable. We have a family reunion there every year (this year, 2021, will be our 30th)! I love seeing this picture. So many fond memories.
