I believe this is the Berryville Community building. When I was growing up, my brother and I spent summers with our grandparents. There was a yearly fish fry. Lots of fun. Live music and contests. Lasted the entire weekend. Plenty of good food and company.

It is the Berryville Community Center. Chowder held the Saturday before labor day every year.

Yep, I went to school at tgat location in first grade! It was a 2 room school building then. Junior (junebug) Slunaker and I were the only first graders. I got to start at age 5 so Junior would have a classmate!Mrs. Hasler was the teacher for all 8 grades, probably about 13 all together! The school was closed the next year and we were sent to Claremont. I remember my mom fighting to keep the school open.

yes grew up there, lots of hayrides, 4h, and still go to the chowder every year, only things that have changed is new sidewalks, and the shelter they added on, also the shelter where the chowder is made, still a great little town
