It use to be a school house. The single story side was Abney School until about 1956. Located in Brushy Township, Saline County; south of Galatia, Illinois. Joe Small and his father John owned the farm around Abney school. Joe bought the school; built the two story addition to the existing billing and bricked all of it. Joe's oldest son now lives there!
