This is my husband's father's homestead. The pole barn is still there, but there was a grain bin built after this picture was taken. The smaller building is gone in the back, the pig barn is still there without pigs, and there is a shed for his travel trailer. Hal still lives there, he just turned 89. The front yard trees are still there, only larger but there are some trees now behind the house. There are some trees now by the back fence. The ten acres south of the house was bought by Gary and Wendy, and the pasture in back is fallow, but the rest of the farm is rented by a local farmer. This was an old mine house that was moved to this location and then added onto when the family grew. Raised three children in this two bedroom house. Other than that, not much has changed!
