Route 4 an 104 looking north east Deep Rock station on left. The long building is the bowling alley
Looking northeast at the intersection of Illinois State Routes 104 and 4, Auburn, Illinois. Featured are a Texaco and Deep Rock service stations. Illinois 4 was the alignment of U. S. Route 66 from 1926 thru 1930.
The building housing the Deep Rock gas station is the relocated Chicago & Northwestern Railway depot from Auburn. It has since been demolished.
