I am not sure. It looks like the place that has been in the family for 3_4 generations. The address was probably R. R. 2, New Berlin, il in 1967, If it is our place the address now is 3252 Kennett Road, New Berlin, IL. It is in Morgan County.

I know you have this listed as in Sangamon County, but it is just west of the county line in Morgan County. This is the farm where John F. Bergschneider lived, his son Leonard E. Bergschneider grew up and took over the farm from his dad. The homestead site is still owned by his descendent, son John L. Bergschneider. Leonard sold the farm ground in 1971 but kept 5 acres with the house and sheds. It is where his son, John L. Bergschneider lives with his wife, Wanda and their son, Derek and his wife live on the 5 acres as well.
