Looking south at a house located at 490 Illinois State Route 104, unincorporated Cimic, Illinois. The Illinois Central Gulf Railroad is seen along the right edge of the photo. Note the Chicago and Illinois Midland Railway, crossing Illinois 104, in the extreme lower left corner. The name Cimic came from the initials of the two railroads - CIM and IC. Today, the house is gone, and an antique mall occupies this spot.
