I lived in this house from 1963 through 1980, that is dads 1964 chevy ton truck in the drive. The outbuildings are all gone now and the house has been remodeled and made larger. The barn had survived the skirts of a tornado and the frame was corrected with cables pulling it back to square.This house sits on the McDonough side of the county line opposite schuyler county. We had to walk across the road to the next county to get our mail! We parked a car in one end of the chicken house and dad backed his winged disc in the other side. The corn crib was the last building to go just a few yrs ago. This picture was taken just 4 yrs before we moved back to the home place where grandma lived before she passed in 1979. I commented on it in the 1967 pictures. This house is now the only house located between Doddsville and the Bedwell house close to rt 67. This brings back alot of memories.
