A 1978 aerial photo shows that sometime between 1968 and 1978, the large "inverted T-shaped" building, as seen in the current satellite image was constructed just west of the house. However, the house and the three outbuildings seen at the right side of the above photo remained standing. The access road to the new T-shaped building followed the alignment of the driveway seen above. Prior to 1988, the house and all outbuildings had been removed. However, a few of the trees located near where the old farmhouse stood appear to have been left standing. The aforementioned access road later became Gateway Industrial Drive. In the above photo, the four lane highway seen in the background is US 460/State Route 15. The curved portion seen at the upper right is the entrance ramp from 59th Street. View looks SW.
