This house was built in 1952 when I was just 1 1/2 years old. We moved here in 1953 when I was 2. My Uncle Howard Schmidt and Aunt Dorothy Otto Schmidt, my mother, Irma Kaps and myself Kathy Kaps Neptun. I have lived in this house for the past 65 years. I grew up here and when I married, my aunt and uncle offered to sell the house to us and move into a house next door. They built their house in 1975 and it is where the pool house is in this picture. I love this house, even though it is getting older and needs to have some updating.
