My boyhood home from 1950 to 1970 SW of Catlin- My parents were H Clyde and Leona Smith. About 4 years before this date we had gotten rid of all the cows, cattle pigs, sheep and chickens. My father and my older brother only concentrated on grain farming. Around 1972 my parents quit farming and decided to spend the next 6 years working as motel managers- retiring in 1978.
