This Shiloh School, it closed in 1960 and sent the students to Catlin Grade school. I started 5th grade that fall, my younger sister also transferred. Our teacher at Shiloh was Mrs Sacre- we had 13 students from 1st to 8th grade in 1960. There was only one country school left in Illinois after we were closed due to low enrollment. Freeman Cord bought the school and converted it to a home- sadly it burned down last year. (unoccupied at the time)
