Greater Chicago Truck Plaza, Bolingbrook

The Union 76 Truck Stop Located On Bolingbrook Drive (Illinois Route 53) Near Southeast Frontage Road And Interstate 55 In Bolingbrook, Illinois. This Was Originally Built As A Pure Truck Stop In The 1960's. It Became A Union 76 In 1970, When The Pure Brand Name And It's Stations Changed That Year. This Lasted As A Union 76 Truck Stop Until 1997, When That Company Pulled Out Of Illinois. Then It Became A Greater Chicago I-55 Truck Plaza With Phillips 66 Gasoline. Greater Chicago I-55 Truck Plaza Stopped Selling Phillips 66 Gasoline In 2013 Or 2014, When They Switched To Their Own Brand. This Truck Stop Still Has Both Signs From The Pure And Union 76 Days, Including The Round Shape, The Orange Color, And The Wordmarks For Auto/Truck Stop, Restaurant, And Entrance With The Arrow, Facing The Truck Stop.

Union 76 Auto/TruckStop #394, Interstate Highway 55-U.S. Route 66, and Illinois State Route 53, Lemont/Bolingbrook, Illinois. This is Chicago Station #394. View looks south.
