Back in the day Renwick Road (just visible on the lower left) jogged south to cross the DuPage River, and this farmstead was north of the road. Around 2012, it was time to retire the old iron bridge over the river, and Renwick was straightened. The farmstead was then cut in half by the new Renwick Road, and the house and most of the outbuildings were removed. The only building remaining from this photo is the metal shed, still alive today on the north side of Renwick (address is 25032 W Renwick Rd, Plainfield, IL 60586).
