Standard Service Station And Restaurant Located On Lincoln Highway (U.S. 30) And Frontage Rd In Plainfield, Illinois Near The Joliet Border. The Building Actually Still Survives To This Day With Several Remodels Over The Years. The Station Became An Amoco In The Early 1970's, With The Standard Signage Being Kept Until The 1980's. The Original Restaurant Closed Down At Some Point. The Building Was Remodeled Into A Modern Design At-The-Time Amoco With A Convenience Store Between 1988 And 1993. The Station Was An Amoco Until Circa 2004, When The Station Became A BP. Then In Early 2009, The Station Became A Mobil, With The Building Being Remodeled Again Later That Year. Between 2015 And 2017, A Dunkin' Donuts Opened Up Inside This Gas Station. Then, In Late 2019, This Station Came Back To It's Original Amoco Brand That It Has Not Seen Since Circa 2004. The Tall Sign Was Unfortunately Removed In Late 2019.
