This is a 1968 Illinois Centennial Farm first purchased by a Williamson county civil war doctor. Thomas Mitchell his son, Henry Mitchell is grandson, and Robert Mitchell and Betty Mitchell Inman his great rand children farmed and owned the land up through the early 21st century. The farmstead is now owned by the Inman family. Over the years the barns have been removed and mine subsidence has severely damaged the 1860's house
