Oh my the old drive in theater that was on what is now IN 11. All built up now. Mostly businesses. FedEx is in this area. Behind it is a housing addition. Wow.

Actually this site on Indianapolis Road was cleared and is still undeveloped after all these years. At the time, the owners closed the drive in after they were offered big bucks for the property.

My dad took my younger brother and me to movie there. We saw the Towering Inferno.

The Columbus Drive-In was removed and the property was cleared and redeveloped because the property was more valuable as an industrial development. Now it's been empty for many years. Not a single entity has been built on the property. I've got a good idea... Why not build a Drive-In Theatre on the property!

I remember riding the train and swings behind the screen back in the mid 60's

My first job at age 16 in 1983. Ramp man and concessions. Had several all nighters when there were 4 movies. Dusk til dawn. Creech and Chong.
