Property was owned by Tom and Gary Hendrix, I believe, in 1965. Purchased by Cecil and Marilene Frederick. In 1972 (when this pic was taken) they were tearing the original house down and building a newer home. Frederick family lived in that house from 1972-1994. House is still on that property as of 2016.
Note on this property. Remembering this photo.
I am the only son living now of the former family that owned and lived here on this property. Along with 2 sister and mother surviving as of now 2022. In this photo my brother and I had returned from camp (2 weeks .
After knocking down the inside walls).
Father started this with help. We watched as they tore down external walls when we returned This was what was left til the weekend where my father finished on his own. Usually this property was not in disarray but dad would not pay someone to do this he did the work. Burning and other stuff were allowed back then. To the left and behind new house were separate piles of roofing, scrap metal and also wood. Then hauled away later. Everything was back to normal later. Of course.
The barn fell down from high winds not sure when I'm sure my younger sister knows. I had moved away in 1978 but I know sometime after that.
