This was originally the Brown family farm. Then in early 1960's became the Carl Fairchild farm. Stayed Fairchild farm until approximately 1994 when Carl died. Then sold on contract to Cardin family. This was my Grandfather and Grandmother Fairchild's farm. As a small child I used to collect eggs from the chicken coop which is partially visible behind the barn.
The house still stands, but all the barns, garages and out buildings are gone now as well as the white picket fence in the yard is gone.Spent a lot of time here as a child riding ponies.
Actually, this was deeded over to my Mom and Adam, Jim and Fran Neff sometime in the sixties or very early 70’s I do know it was before 1974. My grandparents moved down the road in a mobile home but still on the property. I spent almost all my childhood in this house. I was born in 1965 and only have memories of living there.
