My folks moved into this house in 1947 when I was 10 years old. This picture was taken the year after the Psalm Sunday tornado in 1965. The two old barns are gone and replaced with the machine shed and ear corn crib in this picture. Everything south of the house where a few hogs were raised has been cleaned up and most is now farm ground. There are now many large trees around the house that were planted in the 1950's.
I have tried to find a picture that was taken prior to the 1965 tornado but have not been able to.
