My grandfather, Elmer Mellette, rented and worked this farm from 1947-1966. In 1965, I was a 12 yr old boy who loved to follow his Papaw all over this property! I drove by in the summer of 2011. The house has been updated and is occupied. The barn and garage/toolshed look just like they did 50 yrs ago.
