111 White Horse Lane, Fishers, IN 46038

Lived there for a little bit.

Hi Damon!
Can you tell us more about your time living there? We love hearing stories about the history of Hamilton County and what life was like back then. The photo was taken in 1984, do you remember any notable changes to the area since then?

Sure. in the 1980's 96th Street was a two-laned road that pretty much dead-ended into Allisonville Rd. There used to be a big house on a hill where the Shell Station is. The pharmacy was a Hooks. The northeast corner used to be a 100-year-old house that was moved to the park at 126th and Eller Road. There was some kind of plant near the river and 96th - on the north east side of the river.
Allisonville was also a two lane road. Sections of forest were torn down to build shopping complexes and apartment complexes - notable corner of Allisonville and 91st St and just south west corner of 96th and Allisonville Rd. I lived in the house that was on the corner of 96th and Masters Road - south west corner - 9540 Masters Road - from 1982-2007 - there was dramatic change on that corner as well as the city of Indianapolis continued to grow north and northeast.
