Style of the home indicates a build date of c 1850. Renovations have happened and the home has been modernized. Historical atlases suggest that this was the farm of David Swank (1815-1895) and Cynthia Skillman Swank (1828-1896). Home is interestingly missing from the 1989 IHSSI inventory.
