This farm used to be located on the north side of E 600 N, west of N 100 E in Middle Township, Hendricks County (see geotag for exact location of the house). A house built in 1994 now stands on the property, built in the field to the right of the house in this photo. The driveway see in this photo is possibly part of the same driveway that exists today.

Research into local records and historic atlases indicate that this was the house and farm of Austin Pierson (1826-1903) and Mary Smith Pierson (1830-1911). The style of the house dates it to around 1860.
