I believe that this is the Harvey Homestead, built by Absalom Harvey, one of the earliest settlers to Henry County. It eventually belonged to Ralph Harvey who was a US Representative for nearly 20 years in Washington DC. After the death of Ralph and his wife Charlene, it sat empty for several years. Today it is owned by Nate LaMar a well-known politition and resident of Henry County
